You may have read our Local Report item about former South Medford baseball player Logan Boyd in Wednesday’s Mail Tribune. He’s tearing up the California junior college ranks as an outfielder for the College of San Mateo, leading the state with eight home runs. He hit two, including a grand slam, Saturday, and the game before that he was 4-for-4 with a triple.
